For example, go to the theater, buy from the concession stand and watch a movie. Then you need to submit a detailed review before you get paid.
- These places are hiring now. Confero and Intelli-shop are two of hundreds of mystery shop subsidiaries throughout the country. They select shoppers who are experienced with customer service and write truthful, concise reviews. Live in a bigger city? There may be more competition for a shopping gig. Living in a smaller urban area increases your chances of landing a mystery shop mission.
- Can you build a career doing it? Stacking multiple jobs on top of each other is the best way to make a career out of it. Because you’re not actually hired by the company, you’re not an employee. Mystery shopping should be considered a way to supplement your existing income.
Some companies are going digital with their mystery shoppers, giving you an even bigger chance to rake in some cash. If you love to evaluate products via written or video submission, this could be a fun gig for you. There are many different job types, so if diversity drives you, you’ll love it!
